Prologue. As I mentioned in part 1, the Trans-America Trail is a dual-sport motorcycle adventure designed by Sam Correro. The route consists of about 80 percent off-pavement roads which crosses 4,800 miles of the U.S. from eastern Tennessee to the Pacific coast in Oregon.
